Park District Wins Dallas Business Journal Best Real Estate Deal Award

MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT: WINNER

Leveraging the vibrance of Klyde Warren Park, Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. and MetLife Inc. are building Park District, the first commercial development that will front Dallas’ popular urban park. “This building will be the first development built with the (Klyde Warren Park) in mind,” said Scott Krikorian, Dallas-Fort Worth market leader for Trammell Crow. “Park District is all about connection. The mixed-use with office, retail and residential use is what the site deserves.” Park District will feature a 20-story office tower called PwC Tower (with 500,000 square feet) and a 34-story residential tower. The residential portion will feature 253 luxury apartments with a four-story underground parking garage. It will also encompass 29,000 square feet of retail space. “Park District is an exciting and strategic project for our North Texas office,” said Pleas Mitchell, senior vice president of operations for Balfour Beatty Construction, the firm that will build the two towers. “We are committed to delivering a world-class structure that will be a true legacy now and for years to come for our clients and the City of Dallas.” Completion is slated for some time this year.
